Plenty of drones in Manitoba take pictures. The difference with inspection-first work is the question being asked before takeoff: not “what does it look like?” but “what is failing, where, and how badly?”
That question changes everything downstream — the sensors we carry, the way flights are planned, and the deliverable you receive. A pretty aerial photo is a souvenir. An annotated radiometric report with calibrated temperature data is a maintenance decision you can defend to an insurer, a board, or a bank.
